So glad you've joined the e-book borrowing club. I highly recommend the Libby app and uploading the cards to ALL the libraries you are a member of for maximum usefulness. They don't limit you to one card!

I've left a few stumps in the back garden over the years. They almost all show signs of nesting by carpenter bees.

Yes, definitely good news! In commenting, I took for granted that people would understand the need to support native pollinators.

Our front yard seating area came about because it's more shaded than the back yard. Late afternoon summer sun is much more tolerable in the shade!!!
