Hi Heather - I just finished the Less Lawn More Life Challenge! So much fun and just what I needed in my life right now- thank you and your amazing daughter Zoe! Your place looks enchanting. I just moved to a brand new house in Hopkinton Rhode Island. I am struggling with rainwater running down the hills surrounding my house into the low spot on the lower level of my yard…and too close to my new raised bed vegetable garden. Good thing I always wanted a rain garden! Brad Lancaster’s webinar was helpful but I am I am feeling anxious about maybe needing to dig swales to help guide the rain water to the low spot and then out of the low spot to a wooded area for overflow!!! How will this look and will it work? Also I may need a bridge to get to my vegetable garden!?!Any advice or resources on this aspect of rain gardens?? PS - I am trying to see this as an opportunity?!?
